Capital One Cup 4th Round Draw
So this is the draw for the next round of the noddy cup that nobody cares about:
Sunderland v Southampton
Leicester City v Fulham
Birmingham City v Stoke City
Manchester United v Norwich City
Burnley v West Ham United
Arsenal v Chelsea
Tottenham Hotspur v Hull City
Newcastle United v Manchester City
It's interesting to see that, out of the last sixteen, we've only got three teams who aren't in the PL, the only potential top 6 side missing is Liverpool and Swansea were the only Prem side to be knocked out by a lower league side.
So - with so many top flight teams left, does this mean that the PL sides are taking this competition more seriously, or does it just mean the quality of their second strings are getting better?

Re: Capital One Cup 4th Round Draw
I would say it's definitely the latter. Teams are realising that a huge part of success is the quality of depth in your squad.
Especially us, we only got fit of Tevez really, and brought in 4 quality players. Our benched first team has a lot of quality and would probably be not far off where we are now in terms of league position.

Re: Capital One Cup 4th Round Draw
Judging by the rounds so far Wigan & now Newcastle we should get Leicester in the next rnd then Stoke in the semis & spurs in the final that means all teams we have played we have played in previous finals. 4 F.A Cups & 1 league cup. How odd would that be ??

That should read we have played teams from previous cup finals in every rnd.

Re: Capital One Cup 4th Round Draw
How do you work that out, Oz? It's all drawn from pots until the QF and I'm not sure even the semi isn't drawn.

What?TMG wrote:Lordy !
Yes, if it did happen that we played Leicester, Stoke and Spurs in future rounds in this competition then I grant you it would be a weird coincidence. I dunno, maybe it was the way Oz worded it, it sounded like it was a pre-defined path to the final and we'd get Leicester next, as long as they beat Fulham, and I was pointing out that it doesn't work like that.
But thanks for the sarcasm, I feel renewed...

I'm pretty sure Oz was talking hypothetically Leo & wasn't being serious. It would be truly amazing if he actually predicted the route to the final

Jordan, I have to ask the same question as TMG.... How on earth do you know so much about Freddie's gentleman sausage? Not being funny, but you're a bit on the young side.

Just rumours Leo.
I assumed it was a well known fact. We all obviously run in different circles.
But I do appreciate the young compliments

Freddie hoped to be reincarnated as a steaming hot curry so he could once again feel the sensation of dribbling out of an arse again

Yeah. I can't speak for everyone else, but my particular circle doesn't discuss celebrity wedding vegetables.Jordan wrote:I assumed it was a well known fact. We all obviously run in different circles.

Re: Capital One Cup 4th Round Draw
I have to say, it's no wonder clubs aren't fussed about the League Cup when even the fans turn their attentions from that to Dawg's moustache and Freddie Mercury's todger. Maybe if they turned the cup into a model of Rachel Riley's arse, we'd all be a bit more interested. Imagine how much better the football would be if the prize was getting your hands on that?

Re: Capital One Cup 4th Round Draw
Yeah, that would be about right. She's from Essex, so naturally she'd support the rags... But I'm with Shaken on this, it doesn't matter who she supports.
But if you're that bothered Dawg, how about Michelle Keegan?
And I apologise profusely to Wensdi for posting a picture of a bikini-clad lass...

I love the way Leo apogises for posting a pic of a lass in a bikini after the total filth that preceded it regarding the late Mr Mercury and his appendage

I prefer to see it as seeing the light. And let's face it, she's a damn sight easier on the eye than Eddie Large and Liam Gallagher!Topdawg wrote:Michelle Keegan is a plastic. She used to be a rag then switched because of her fella.
I figure it's easy to skim over words, but a full on bikini clad lass picture is a lot harder to miss...ManCityMan wrote:I love the way Leo apogises for posting a pic of a lass in a bikini after the total filth that preceded it regarding the late Mr Mercury and his appendage

Re: Capital One Cup 4th Round Draw
Definitely the way I worded it.The point I was trying to make was all teams from cup finals we were involved in. I also forgot Birmingham as a previous cup finalist against us. I am no David Moyes so no conspiracy or alternative theories with me. I just thought it was an unusual coincidence so put together a hypothetical draw.
Hope I have cleared that up, don't want any heavies knocking on my door.
