Well, I suppose they have to do something to while away the hours sat in their traffic car, on that siding on the M60 between the Ashton and Oldham junctions. They're supposed to be in plain sight. I think they use the argument they ARE in plain sight to Superman (or someone equally blessed with x-ray vision), cos you sure as hell can't see them until you're practically on top of them.

There's a bay on either side of the road bridge near where the motorway bottoms out. If you look carefully you can sometimes see them there. I think they get people who've let gravity take too much control coming down into Ashton from Oldham.

Do people from Ashton going to Oldham have cars that go over 70 mph?

Most of em are used to travelling by camel I reckon

got caught speeding before christmas near town on Oldham rd (36mph) & opted to go on one of those speeding courses instead of getting points, four hours long

Luckly for me it was at the Holiday inn Newton Heath, wondered why it was always full on Monday mornings
