Ferdinand not charged for striking Torres
It's a fucking disgrace.

Why doesn't Torres make a complaint to the police for assault as the FA have decided to do fuck all about it? Maybe then old rubber lips will get something for this offence and the FA will, once again, be shown up for the spineless twats that they are.

What exactly did the FA see differently (when watching the evidence) than everybody else?
How on earth is it not punishable?
Not suprised in the slightest that he got away with it scott free again. One rule for Utd and one rule for everyone else.
If Zaha hadn't been wearing a Red shirt and not an Eagles shirt, i'm pretty sure he'd have got nothin more than a smack botty too.

Re: Ferdinand not charged for striking Torres
Let's not kid ourselves here - the rags are considered to be the crown jewels in the PL and the FA are hardly likely to scupper them just because of one rubber lipped twat decided to hand out a slapping to some Spaniard. He'll just keep on getting away with it as long as he's wearing that shirt. As will the rest of them.
So much for fair competition.

Ok, so maybe the MEN have a scoop with the story, but it's nowhere on the BBC website at all.

Re: Ferdinand not charged for striking Torres
Typical. I can only imagine the backlash if it had been another team.
Tell me what the difference is between that and the Hazard kick? One was on a kid yes, but he was kicking the ball from under him. This is a blatant trip and push. The sly bugger has only got away with it because he's scum and picked him up after.
And what about when Balotelli was banned? From the Scott Parker kick? No difference. Not that we should be condoning either, but where the F is the consistency?

Re: Ferdinand not charged for striking Torres
According to what appears to be the Uefa & FA's logic here, if Adebayor had waved and apologised immediately to the Arsenal fans after racing up the pitch to celebrate his goal in front of them he would not have been punished.
Because Camel lips made a big show of shaking each official's hand before leaving the pitch Uefa presumably decided not to punish him for clapping his hands sarcastically in the ref's face after the whistle.
Because Camel lips immediately hauled Torres to his feet and slapped him on the back after blatantly running up to him and tripping him cowardly from behind the FA presumably decided to take no further action.
Therefore Mancini should just instruct his players that if they commit a bookable offence that the ref misses then just act contrite or apologise quickly and they will not be punished retrospectively by the FA, simples.

Maybe this is how Reading beat the scum now, then? Get Le Fondre to twat Plug when the ref isn't looking, then pat him on the back and say, "Alright, mate?"
