Looks like Tevez may be offered a contract extension to stay until 2016.

With all these attacking midfielders and wingers we are buying or linked with, maybe the plan will be to unlock the opposition defence more often creating more goalscoring opportunities. Maybe we won't buy Cavani and stick with what we have, though I'd like a 4th striking option just in case.

Barca have played games without a striker at all, though I don't like that idea. If we create more scoring opportunities, and easier ones at that, maybe that's a way forward.

We've played without a striker at all a few times
Gerry Creaney and Lee Bradbury's time at City spring to mind
