Kompany to play tomorrow

Well, looks as if Kompany is going to play and captain Belgium on Tuesday. Not sure how I feel about that, surely he should be given as much time as possible to recover! I assume Mancini is not best pleased.

He's just missing match fitness now I reckon, so, treat it as Belgium doing us a favour!

I'm happy that he's playing. If he breaks down, then better for Belgium than for us at the weekend.

Agreed. If he's ready, he gets some match fitness in, if he's not, he conks out for someone else. Win-win, really.

If he's Capt, then he'll probably play 90mins. Agreed, it's good for us.
If he comes through that ok, wonder if he'll come straight back into the starting 11 this Satdi against Newky........is that a bit harsh on Kolo and Nasty if he does though?

I think how long he plays will depend on his fitness and the reaction of his injured leg. The fact that he is captain will not necessarily mean that he will play for the full 90 minutes, even Captains can get substituted.

He'll play the full 90 if he shows no signs of injury. Betcha!
