Who's sad to see Umbro go?
I liked Umbro shirts. Even when Nike bought them out, they still did the design work in Manchester and the shirts were still pretty decent.
Though it seems odd, I just don't feel that I'll be getting good shirts from Nike (look at Utd's shite offering this year as well as the last few years). I've bought loads of City shirts over the years, but I just don't get the same feeling from Nike.

My 1st City kit i had, had the white Umbro motif down the arm and i think the side of the shorts, absolutely loved it. 1978/9/80ish. Time will only tell if we get better kits.
Just found this site and i was right.

I find the shirts from other makers are really not very comfy either. They use those horrid breathable materials that itch and, in some cases, bring me out in hives. The Le Coq ones were worst for that. The Umbro ones are well comfy, especially the first one. I still wear that one to matches. The ones since are nice, too, but not quite so nice.
My main concern is we're just going to have a United or Arsenal shirt in pale blue.
