Re: Team News Tonight
Packing the midfielder it looks like. Would have liked to have seen Aguero start, but glad Dzeko isn't starting.
Too be fair Nasri deserves to start as he played well against Newcastle. But yes, if he doesn't have a great game then he needs to go. 2 good games a season isn't good enough.

Got to be happy with the 1st half overall. We've had a lot of the ball in the final third and they are pretty much playing on the break. They always look dangerous on the break.
Even Sammy seems to be putting in a decent shift.

Re: Team News Tonight
Nasri, Milner and Silva need to seriously UP their fucking game!!
Milner's crossing has been pants, Silva's passing woeful and Nasri? Well he's just a French fuck-wit!
Get Aguero on as when we've got on the edge of the area, we've had limited options.
Bring French ladyboy off, play Silva out wide and Carlos drifting behind Aguero.

Re: Team News Tonight
Nasri's had a decent half, tracking back, WTF didn't he do this all season?
Bossed the game at times, but missing that killer edge, Aguero will come on, but for who? and we need Yaya to move up to support the attack, same old story isn't it?!
Barry further up than Yaya? not right, will have to change 2nd half
0-0 isn't what we want, but so far so good!

Think you're being a bit harsh Blueboy! Even Ratboy's said we've bossed the game so far, but Aguero needs to come on for sure... and Yaya go up a few gears

Should've been a player on the back post to be fair.
and a lucky ricochet for Jones.
but we've shown we won't be giving the title away easy.

Great performance from the boys, bossed the game.
Shame that wasn't the performance we could draw on during the season...
Let's carry that on to sunday and the rest of the season

Great game. Irrelevant in the eyes of the league but it's what we needed. Now let's get on, get another trophy and start the following season like that.

Sorry? Said Nasri was shite - he was. Said Nasri needed to come off for Aguero...he did.
Said Milner needed to up his game...he did and scored.
Said Silva was poor, he was and was injured.
TBF...I think I was pretty much spot on with my first half assessment.
Great win, thought we were the better team 'overall'...thought Yaya was fucking stupid with his ambitious pass which led to them breaking away and Yaya having to concede a free kick to make up for his silly mistake...even said to my lad...."bad position to concede a free kick with RVP on the end of it"..we then concede. Hart TBF was fucking mentally challenged in what he was doing at that free kick...but we got away with it...with an absolute piece of 'genius' play from Sergio....QPR all over again.

Re: Team News Tonight
Have you been on the sauce bluey?
Milner was pretty much very good all game long - he even got MoM. Nasri was putting himself about and even got an assist.
Didn't 'poor' Silva get an assist too? He was decent as well. I don't think he had the hamstring problem in the 1st half.
All in all, a very good performance - one of Champions.

Milner was excellent all match - and so was Silva. Think you talk a load of shite Blueboy sometimes. Very pleased with the overall performance of everybody including Mancini's selections. Great match.

On the sauce? Don't know what game you were watching Dawg, Milner's crossing and free-kicks n corners were awful in the first half. Silva consistently gave the ball away cheaply in the first half and Nasri??? £24m for one or two passes all game? He kept getting out-muscled all game and turning back inside...even a slip over the ball on the edge of the area led to Milner's goal.
FFS....we were the better team overall.....but let's not gloss over things Dawg.
Yes, we had possession, but how many saves did DeGea have to make? They hit the cross-bar/post by Rafael. Apart from our 2 goals...we hardly battered them...in fact, we looked like we were the poorer side after they equalised through a stupid free kick.
Milner? MOM? Thought he was so so...thought Barry deserved it IMO, or maybe Tevez.

You can have your opinions and I have mine. All of a sudden I've turned "yankified" because I dare to question you!! Even the commentators praised Milners efforts ALL match. As for Nasri - he did lay that pass on for Milner to score - and I think he's upped his game today and last week. Silva covers a lot of ground and gives 100% so I'm not going to sell him short. Aguero only had 45 minutes in him - think it was the game plan to sub him for Nasri all along. Thought we defended well too - much better performance from us - should have played like that in a couple of other games we threw away.

Wensdi - If you read what I said, I was talking about the first half. Silva and Milner played well over the 90 minutes...but watch it again...Milner wasn't beating the first man with his crossing and dead balls. Silva was wasteful at times and Nasri didn't do a great deal....yes, he ran around and chased back, as did Silva and Milner - but I'd expect that off any player.
Second half was different - even though we were under the kosh for a 20 minute spell.....we kept the ball better and more sensible decisions (apart from Yaya trying to play a killer pass). Yes, Milner played well...but I thought Barry was over-looked last night, thought he was superb.

Re: Team News Tonight
Barry sneaked past his man on 3 or 4 occasions which truly amazed me. He can't even beat an egg normally.
I thought Nasri kept it simple, if a little slow, but his short passes with Yaya and Silva helped us to keep hold of the ball. Everyone, even Jimmy Milner, is allowed the odd mistake in the opposing third.

Ah, the new Baresi got done for both goals as well as missing the target with his open goal effort relying on Kompany's back to save his blushes.

The commentary team, Rat Boy, most people on here, the media this morning and .....me, thought Milner and Nasri were much better than your assessment Blueboy so what does that tell you? Oh yeah, the whole world is wrong and you're right
Just kidding mate, it's all about opinions but you do seem to be in the minority on this one.
