We have to look forward with great optimism for next season now.

Mancini only seems to get it right on the big stage, when we go to play teams that we should beat, he tinkers, players are out of natural positions, and we look unbalanced and confused! Is that because the squad players aren't all up to it? or what?
If we'd been in the same form as last season, this could've been another mauling.
Still, what happens if UTD go on a poor run now? Stoke will need to win, and if they put them under enough pressure, which they can do, well... that huge gap might start to be whittled away, they still have to get 10 more points, to me the season isn't over until the trophies in their hands, they're in poor form, been beaten twice in a row, star players aren't performing... if they lose another, start drawing, deja vu might set in, we saw last year that they tailed off, and we finished strong, if we start knocking out wins, they have a few draws, just saying! it probably is too late, but, that gap will close, it's just a matter of how much.....

Probably. Tbf he did this last season and got away with it......just. This season he's done more or less the same thing and hasn't, we've been caught out big time. Think we all agree the squad needs a fresh injection for next season, not only for league but more importantly for the CL.....just hope he gets the signings he wants, then there can be no excuses.
