Dortmund & Real Madrid thru to the Semis
Both teams were in our group of death
I'm absolutely sick to the back teeth of hearing how we did shit in this season's CL. It's in just about every article written about City and/or Mancini, whilst little mention is made of all the other teams who failed almost as miserably. We had by far the hardest group EVER in the CL group stages as can be seen by the CL SF places
Manure had one of the easiest groups in history & were extremely underwhelming & then went out as soon as they played someone decent
Chelski didn't fair any better than us & Arsenal were dumped out straight after the group stages also

Also funny how nobody ever points out that United were punted out by Madrid and that their results over the two legs were the same as ours - one draw, one loss.
I doubt any of our English counterparts would've got out of that group.

Re: Dortmund & Real Madrid thru to the Semis
Don't really know what to say to this.
Ok we got the hardest group and both teams have got through to the semis....just, but frustratingly we SHOULD have gone through. We should have beat Ajax at home and arguably Madrid home and away but we didn't and subsequently went out.
Only Ajax away and Dortmund at home did I think we were utterly rubbish, probably on a par with Southampton away, but the other games we didn't really do that bad.
I honestly think with a few top quality additions to the squad (and I mean quality additions), we'll be the ones in the semis next season. It's that simple!
