Re: Real Madrid v Rags
Remember a few years ago when he got the odious scouse Shrek sent off? I want him to do that again, only this time I'll be cheering him on!
What, me, an ABU? Of course! And why wouldn't I be? It'd be like making friends with someone who was always trying to stab you in the neck.

Re: Real Madrid v Rags
Of course we are! We're not blinkered imbeciles who can't see past our own shirt. I have personally enjoyed other English teams doing well in Europe, including Liverpool's amazing comeback against AC Milan, Fulham's hard fought run to the UEFA Cup final (I was really hoping they'd won that) and Chelsea's dogged defence against a superior Bayern Munich team to bring home ole' Big Ears. Because our teams doing well in Europe means our league coefficient stays high and we get to enjoy it all the more.
And there's still teams in Europe for us to support: Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Newcastle and whoever plays against United.

I'd actually like The Scum to get to the semi finals - Lots of extra games & hopefully a few long term injuries to key players like Van Pussy & Shrek should do us very nicely to retain the PL title

Re: Real Madrid v Rags
I know what you mean, TMG, but I suspect Madrid will punt them out. It's all very well gloating about getting through to the knockout stages, but they weren't up against the cream of Europe and I reckon they'll bow out now they're going to meet a decent team.
Still, if they do bust a gut to get past them, it'll do us no end of favours, what with an easy trot in January to look forward to.
