For anyone that doesn't know. This was 3rd v 2nd (only top 2 go straight up), Uwe Roslers Brentford had to win to gain Automatic promotion at the expense of Doncaster who just needed to draw.

What an ending to the game, Brentford were awarded a 94th minute penalty to surely win the game, unbelievably it was missed and Doncaster broke straight up the other end and scored to seal their promotion.......well, Rosler can't say they didn't have a chance to do it.

Still got that City curse.

I watched this on the Football League Show. Couldn't believe Brentford, with a penalty in the dying seconds of the game, ended up losing like that!

Uwe was gutted. They interviewed him and it looked like he was on the verge of tears. Can't say I blame him, it must be horrible to watch your team battle like that, only to be denied right at the death by a complete fluke. I dare say they'll go up in the play-offs, though.

Just to rub it in even further........I bet they don't.

Just think, he could have been our manager next year if they'd gone up....
