Well, not read it.....but saw that the translation basically is saying that Barcelona are looking to buy other strikers, Trezeguet being one.....however, may also look to strengthen by buying Klose or Roque Santa Cruz!!!  

Dawg....don't you live in France and speak the lingo?

I know just enough French to get by and it looks like they're after a replacement for David Villa.  The gist I get is Trezeguet is the front runner, but the other options appear to be some sort of plan B.  Featuring the likes of some of the oldest CFs still playing in Europe.  And Crocky.

But my grasp of the language didn't help me here...

To me, this reads:  Barca have a list of players who can occupy the centre forward position and wear the fox costume left by David Villa, who left for Athletico Madrid in the summer.

Erm... fox costume??  Ah, maybe they're after a new mascot!!

I have avoided speaking the lingo for as long as I can, and still do.

Let's be honest, anyone after Trezeguet means the story is bollcoks.

I would rather have my throat slit from ear to ear than utter the language of the vile french. I do hope that does not come across as bitter or anti french in any way.

Oh, no, no.  The use of the term "vile French" couldn't possibly be taken in any negative way at all...
