Sorry, missed the part that said Kompany not available, just read he was back in training with the squad.

I think the fact that he brought off Aguero and Nasri may mean they both play...and he never drops Yaya.

Kompany, Silva, Jovetic, Rodwell all injured and will not play.

I don't see the point of almost playing a 1st team bluey. I want my best players rested and uninjured for Swansea.

Think Fernandinho will start, pretty sure he has done in all the other CL games (i might be wrong).

Nasri was in the interview with MP....that's why I think he'll play.

I'd play a fullish strength team for 45 mins...and see where it takes us.

We should aim for the win anyway.  I mean, you never know, it's a bit colder at the Khimki now and I'll bet Bayern find it harder to play their particular brand of flowing football on that bear's arse of a pitch.  I'd be looking for CSKA to bag a cheeky point there, if not a thoroughly impudent three.  Which would mean a sneaky win at the Allianz would leave us top on points.

Anyway, I don't want to watch us lose, dammit!  I've spent too much of my life watching us lose.  I like it when we win, it makes me feel good...

Come on, we should be able to put out any team and win that game against Plzen. No disrespect to them, but we are way too good especially at home.

It's not complacency or arrogance. At some point, we have to be able to able to field the fringe players. Do we say taking Aguero off on Sunday was complacent or arrogant? 

I want to give players that are hungry a game. Micah and Lezza will be hungry with points to prove. So will Guidetti, Boyata, and maybe one or two others. That should be good enough.

I'm happy to swap the defenders around tonight, keep the majority of the MF and maybe add a different striker...and then if we are ahead by a few, bring them off for the others.
