I don't like the horizontal stripes on the sleeves though. Wish they had stuck with the vertical ones. Still there's no pleasing some women - right

Nah, it's real. There is slightly more black in the shirt as it's black at the end of the sleeves and around the neck. But it's very close.

I've been to Turkey for the last 6 years Shaken usually in August. The markets are great for getting up to date City replica shirts & they've all been fairly decent quality so far but I think you'll be lucky toget a new one so early

Tbh mate it's the only stall i enjoy looking at, as shopping bores me to friggin tears (have to keep the Mrs happy though). Most stalls last year still had Thomas Cook on but i managed to find 1 with the new Etihad logo, the little Turkish fella litteraly threw it at me (as i walked off) as i said i'd only give him 15euros for it. I'll be looking for the same kinda deal this time round me thinks .

yeah bluebiy I know they have been wearing the shirts this year but it that what they will be selling or are the gonna change it slightly... i got the impression they wanted to shrink the red stripes!

Had mine delivered yesterday, its absolute quality, everything about it is class. I was unsure about the sleeves but when its on they look mint.

Saw them on Sky Sports - will have to warm up to the sleeves tho' - don't care for horizontal stripes reminds me of rugby shirt (and QPR)

I had the same thoughts Wensdi, but the way its been put together it looks class, the stripes blend in perfectly. Breathable strips on the shoulders and neck blend in well, brown stitching in the with the gold on the badge so it does'nt stand out to much, even the 'tailored by umbro' writing looks quality. I wore it out last night and my mates loved it, Baggies, Wolves, Villa and even L'pool fans said it was the best new kit of the season.
