Fernandinho has been voted the Etihad Player of the Month for December.
The Brazilian midfielder polled triple the amount of his nearest challenger, James Milner with Jesus Navas finishing a close third in the online contest voted for by supporters.
Ferna turned in a series of sparkling performances last month and scored his first City goals in the 6-3 victory over Arsenal.
His consistency since joining the Blues has led to calls for him to win international recognition for Brazil with the World Cup just months away.
Thanks to everyone who voted and this month’s winning entry is from Matthew Corbett who will present the Etihad prize to Ferna later this month.
Ali Kassom is our overseas winner and will receive a personal video message from the City star.
