Got one of those 'awful' feelings tonight.

I'm going for a 2-2 draw.

Please....let me be so wrong.....it's that bloody 'Cityitis' kicking in.......whenever Garcia plays....we are generally shit!

Embarassed  Embarassed  Embarassed  Embarassed  Embarassed

4-4 then????

I'll keep on posting draws.....as good luck!

We should really be giving Lopes his chance now...surely?

Let Garcia sit (I know???) and rest Yaya......let Lopes learn from Silva.........we can always bring Kolorov or Fernando sit in MF....as WHU are nothing short of shit at the back...awful.

If like to see Lopez on for the last half hour. It's good to see Negredo and Dzeko linking up well for a change though so I get if he wants to keep them playing to gel more

I know blueboy! He has played well though. Saw a stat and thought of you the other day, Garcia is actually top of the PL pass completion stats this season.

Unbelievable!

Awful. I have no words. Fucking Dzeko and Garcia AGAIN! Lescott at the back? Then the subs, bringing on a kid with 20 minutes to go? Madness, West Ham could have got back in the game.

And dropping Joe Hart once again was a ridiculous decision. I've had enough, I'm selling my shirt. Pellegrini out.

Razz Razz Razz  fuck off Jordan......you've called for their heads before!! If WHU on tonight's performance is the time to say " Garcia and Dzeko are great "......then I give up.

Never seen such an awful performance from a PL team in my life.... WH were nothing short of a disgrace.

Great result...good to see Dzeko and Negredo on the same wavelength against a bunch of pathetic, over-paid footballers, Lopes' back-heel showed some class...and the finishes were top draw...

6-6 for the return leg?

Let's see Dzeko do that against Newcastle, Arsenal, United and Liverpool away...not some team that don't deserve to be in League One...

did it say:

1m passes sideways.....

500 thousand after taking 5 secs to think that a pass back was now his only option?

Great game though tonight, considering he had fuck all to do... cheers

I'm a miserable, pessimistic old twat, but I loved that. Life is good my friends, embrace it, ruffle it's hair and send it on it's way. So so glad I'm not a dirty red bastard.

Garcia can still go for me, it probably would have been 7-0 if he hadn't have played. Correct me if I'm wrong, but does Garcia think we abide by rugby rules? That chap has never played a forward pass in his life.

Did you notice last night, he backs out of nearly all 50/50 challenges. He is no defensive-mid. There was one where he had 80% chance to get the ball and he just pretty stopped and let the West Ham player take it.

Yeah...I saw that and thought wtf is he doing?

Still, he has the best passing stats in the PL... Razz Razz Razz

I never saw him at Benfica, but apparently he was in high demand. I'm curious, how slow paced is the Portuguese league?

I know. For almost all the game, it looked like an English football version of the Harlem Globetrotters. Given that thumping by Forest, you'd think BFS would want them to show a bit more heart, which happened for all of the first five minutes, then they sat back and watched us pass the ball around, like it was some sort of training exercise. Weird.

Our team looked good and in control, but West Ham made us look better than we were. Nobody on our side had an astounding game, because they just didn't need to. Every time Yaya or Nasri ran at their defence, they crapped themselves and let them through. Good to see Lopes getting some game time and he showed some neat play, but again it was never going to be hard for him. Not sure why we needed six defenders on the pitch at the end, though, it's not like West Ham were ever going to score.

The only positives West Ham can take from this game:
  • The keeper, Adrian, made a few good saves.
  • The fans were very good, didn't stop singing despite having to suffer that game.
  • At least they don't have to worry about the return leg, they can focus on staying up now.

And I've figured out how to get Dzeko fired up. Did you see his altercation with O'Brien? After that, he looked like a man who so desperately wanted to hammer every single ball into the back of the net and even pushed himself to get his first. Maybe we should get every team's centre back to have a pop at him!

Like I said last night....thought Dzeko and Negredo were excellent, but Dzeko needs to show that hunger and aggression against much better teams.

When things don't fall right for him, for example, whenever a CB gets the better of him early, winning headers, tackles, physical battles...he just seems to go missing. Last night he was never going to get that.

If he is a confidence player...maybe the way he celebrated his second, will give him another 20% that's been missing lately.
