In my book, were on;y playing with 2 or 3 first teamers (Yaya, Aguero and at a push Kolarov). That's not enough.

Sounds like 'pace' is our issues....they seem to be playing a 3-5-2 and bossing the MF.....what's MP doing about it?

Maybe Clichy on a LB and Lopes off....push Kolorov into the LMF spot...Kompany on for DeM....??

I remember last time we played them in the Cup at home....they did the same then...hit us on the counter-attack and with pace.....maybe MP hasn't quite done his homework for this game?

It reads on the mcfc website that we just haven't got going....I think 3 or 4 players out there are playing for places...and if this it what they offer....doesn't bode well for their future at City:

Rodwell

Still.....we should be good enough, but when I saw the team.....that defence isn't great whatsoever.

Nah....i think we've all said for months:

DeM - has no pace, and if he's MP's first choice CB? Then fuck me....we're going to get spanked by Barca..and struggle against better teams....DeM is a lower PL player at best, slow, small....

Lescott - no pace, poor control on the ball....was this the right game for him to play with DeM? No way.....maybe his head is more on to who will sign him.

Kolorov at LB - been better than Clichy, but we all know he can't defend...and gets out caught out of position time and time again.

And MP puts all 3 together.....odd decision.

Vinny on is a must....for DeM.

Clichy on for Lopes......put Kolorov into LMF

or Fernandhino on for Rodwell and allow Yaya to get forward.

Just can't see us playing so poor as that first half by all accounts.

Time for Dzeko and Aguero to pull their fingers out.....

I can understand team selection especially with spurs to play in midweek, to be honest the team we put out should more than adequately dispose of Watford. Pell said only silva , nrgredo were definite non starters & of course nasri. Where is Milner & Garcia?Odd Garcia not being there as this is another chance for pell to give Garcia more game time. I hope e can turn it round but I am personally more worried going in to the game against spurs on the back of a defeat.

Well if you listen to MP....it' all about this game. A lot of players were rested midweek....don't buy that...he obviously thought playing 3 slow defenders in a back 4 would be enough....clearly, their forwards have exposed his thinking.

Dzeko just missed 2 clear opportunities...back to his old self.
