The referee last night....did you know?

He has refereed 1 game since November last year, and that was a game between Al Sadd v Umm Slal of the Qatari League.

Now....regardless of what happened, last night was the biggest game of the CL so far.......was he really the right man as MP said?

Interestingly, whenever he has reffed British teams, he has:

1) Sent off Ryan Babel of Liverpool against Benfica
2) Sent off Schurle of Chelsea in the Super Cup against Bayern
3) Never gave a clear cut penalty for Rangers against Sevilla
4) Gave a penalty against City from 35 yrds away and claimed it was in the box, sending off DeM in the process.
5) Lewandowski clearly elbowed Arsenal's Koscielny in October, but he gave nothing.

He's a multi-millionaire who does this as a hobby, after selling his share in a sports franchise for £6m.

Was he really the right man to be reffing such a high-profile game?

With all that background, and the issues with his handling of the Barca game against Milan, there are a few issues.
