I think it's both selling and buying, but they've appealed and think it will be overturned....another test for numpty's at UEFA.

They can't buy players but I think they can sell players (though they wouldn't really want to if they can't buy anyone to replace those sold).
It would be a restraint of trade if they were not allowed to sell players who wanted to leave.

Nike will pay us a supplement to our kit deal if we landed Messi. As will Etihad and all our other sponsors. We'd sell a million shirts the first season alone if he joined. I'm sure that would easily add up to the £50M a season it would cost us in the accounts if we bought him.
