Re: Relive 2012
Just 'blubbed' again!! Why does it still do that? I'll cry like a baby again if we win again on Sunday....maybe not AS much, but no doubt I still will.
This season has just pretty much mirrored 2012.....
#TOGETHER.......Come on City!

Re: Relive 2012
So very nervous about Sunday. Will be down at the beach with my two lads etc., so it will be tense for all of us. I still can't believe we beat Everton, Palace and Villa - and as Franny Lee - "If there was a cup for cock-ups - City would win it." Sorry - nothing's ever nailed on for us is it?

Re: Relive 2012
Wensdi, I think Sunday will be a stroll in the park. We've been there before, so the players will be fine. It's only us that are nervous.
As for crying, well I'm not too proud to admit that I cried when we won the league, I cried when we beat Gillingham in the play offs and I cried when MVF and Rocky Rocastle passed on. It's in my DNA and I'm proud of it. Whatever the result on Sunday I shall have a few tears.
I'm a 49 year old fireman that's been round the block (more than once) and I'm battle-hardened to life. But our club still has the capacity to bring me to my knees.

Re: Relive 2012
I hope its a stroll TBW. Just feels like we've used up all 9 lives - and I couldn't bear Liverpool to win it and City lose it. It's been a tough couple of weeks. Don't like the whole FFP thing and the more I read about FFP - the more I think we'll get nailed. Of course other clubs like Chelski, Utd etc. have spent just as much - but they did it before FFP came into play - plus Chelski won the CL - which paid out a lot of dosh. In fact - I've already slit one wrist..........

Re: Relive 2012
I've got the DVD too, but at the mo I don't have anything I can play it on, so I just watch the videos on youtube. I still get goosebumps and a bit teary too.
But honestly, watching the video still doesn't compare to the memory of being there, being lucky enough to be a handful of yards away from the action. The huge rush of adrenalin that made me turn to my son and say, "Come on, mate, time to run onto the pitch!" And the moment a few hours later when I'd calmed down a bit and then noticed the pain from where I'd bashed my leg against the seat frame and cut it open!
