Great game, but it's only the first game of the group...don't be surprised to see the likes of Xavi getting dropped for the next game.

Thought Pique and Ramos together, were awful. Neither got any support from their full backs.

Costa was crap up front on his own....I think Spain adapted their normal style to accommodate Costa.

Never witnessed Iniesta and Xavi give the ball away so much. Van Gaal got his tactics spot on, kill them on the counter attack with pace.

And if that's not a blueprint on how we should play tonight Roy, then I don't know what is.
