Yeah, it's been mad this WC so far. Plenty of drama and plenty of under/over performing players and teams.
Cahill's goal will take some beating for the best goal of the tournament - if somebody beats it, then I can't wait to see it.
The South American teams were tipped to do very well....but people were talking about Argentina and Brazil. It could be the likes of Chile and Colombia, or Cost Rica that may shock the WC. I hope so, it'd be great to see some new team outside of the top table win it.

Re: Go on Australia
The way this tournament is panning out right now, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest, Bluey. The only major player to have even looked remotely like being able to win this thing is Germany, and that's at least partly down to Portugal being so poor.
I have to say, right now, I fancy Chile to nick it, they're pressing teams hard, creating chances and - well, a bit like Argentina used to play, actually. If they beat Holland (and they should, the Aussies stuck two past them) then they'll dodge the Brazil bullet and should be able to go all the way from there. That said, if Holland beat them, they'll be a strong shout for the final as well...

Yeah, I think the only team that has actually played up to their standard is Germany. But then again, after Holland battered Spain, they then were average against Australia...so the way it's going, lump on Germany getting beat in their next game!!

I think you can add Uruguay to that list Blueblueboy wrote:
