Nothing as strange as the mentality of some football fans mate. Here in Glasgow it still baffles me how many Celtic fans would rather support the Republic of Ireland than Scotland despite having never ever even set foot in Ireland and having no Irish roots. I know it's simply because of the Irish Catholic connection of the club but why refuse to support your natural country? I have lived up here for 35 years and i am English and proud and would never abandon England to support Scotland although i would still want Scotland to win, unless they were playing England of course.
It sickens me how much celebration was going on up here last night, it was just like Scotland had beaten somebody because England lost.

I can actually see why they do celebrate England losing..it goes beyond football. However, for scousers to post pics of Suarez, I find bizarre.

My family are from Scotland - my dads from Greenock, but lived here for over 40 years....and he supports England, but Scotland whenever they play...however, my relatives still in Scotland, always are vociferous whenever England are playing...they just hate them winning anything in Sport.

I hope that escape clause is correct and I truly hope he goes. Let's see how the dippers do without him.

I find it quite pathetic that the Welsh, Scotch & N Irish celebrate whenever England lose. Just jealousy really as they are never likely to get to the finals of a major championship again
 
I'd be delighted to see any of them in the WC or Euros and would support them all the way apart from against England

On Suarez I really hope the cheating obnoxious racist twot does leave our fair isle
