Manager of the season 2013-14
Last year, Tony Pulis should have been manager of the year by a mile for taking Holloway's underperformers and turning them around into a tough unit and keeping them in the league. But the award went to Brendon Rogers whose claim to tactical genius amounted to having one red hot Louis Suarez in his side. Now Rogers needs to earn his corn, we can see he is struggling.
Great managers don't lose their touch overnight. Maybe he wasn't a great manager in the first place.

Re: Manager of the season 2013-14
I think he's a good manager, not great.
The departure of Suarez and the subsequent injury to Sturridge has hampered his forward line no end, but to be honest we all knew he was going to struggle without Suarez.
Liverpool are still a top 7 side, whether they're a CL team remains to be seen....i personally don't think so. Having him and his Loserpool team miss out on a CL place would please me nearly as much as the Rags failing to get there once again.

That is my wish for the season too Den. Liverpool and United missing out might be the best thing this season especially if we win nowt.
We can see the difference losing a top class player makes.

Just seen Liverpool lost last night (i'm guessin that's probably part of what your OP's about), aww what a shame eh.
And Wanky did too to leave them deep deep in trouble.....good night all round then me thinks

One things for sure, MP won't be winning it on his brand of football this season, maybe he will for keeping us out of the relegation dog fight?

The whole thing is bollocks anyway. Take a look at The Guardian's 2013-14 Team of the Season....not one single City player in it and we won the title. 2 players from a United team that missed out on European football.

That's a load of old bollocks. If only one City player could make it into that team, Yaya was a shoe in. 20 bloody goals is more than enough.

shame to say that as they beat England the last time they met. I had to suffer the embarrassment for weeks.
