Saw that earlier today. Good news for all fans.

Does anyone know if ALL season tickets sold out last season?

As far as I know, yes.  But given we're not going to win the PL this year, I expect some might bail out, so you might get a shot.

Good news on the ticket prices, although I'm not sure what the reporter was thinking about posting the picture of the "BOO" signs.  Makes us look like we're whining about ticket prices, despite this being at the Seville game - long before we even knew we were out of the group, let alone in the quarter finals.  But that's the press for you

You're right, they did sell out.
I was on the "waiting list" for the South Stand expansion last season, but got my deposit back due to the fact the Shakers got promotion. I'm hoping to get back on said waiting list in the hope some (as you say) may bail out...that said the Pep factor might get people to stay.

I'm a bit surprised they aren't going for the 2nd part of extending the stadium with Pep coming.

If there's a waiting list of a couple of thousand, they should do it. It's worth a few million a season if we can fill those seats.

I'd probably opt for a few season tickets if they did and were on at £300. Would only get to about 30-40% of the games, but my lads would definitely go.

The think is Bluey, you can sell up to 6 tickets, at cost, to other fans so you end up paying for 13 home league games. Not too bad if you only go to half a dozen games. £30-£35 a game and guaranteed tickets to the derby, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, the champions (Leicester) and Spuds.
