Our most important players
Here's one for you. List our most important players in order from 1 to 5
1. Yaya
2. Nasri
3. Silva
4. Aguero
5. Jimmy
We miss Yaya and Nasri more than we miss Aguero.

Re: Our most important players
Interesting, we all seem to be saying the same thing: Serge, Silva, Nasri, TLF and either Milner or Kompany.
I'd say the same, in that order, but on current form have Jimmy over Vinny.

Re: Our most important players
I just put down who I thought had played well this season and impacted games.
We look a different team without Silva. I know Nasri is now back, but he's been injured and if Silva was out, we would have struggled. As it was, he got us through December almost single handedly with his goals and assists.
Milner's been outstanding for us and stepped up to the plate in December - and when he's come on as a sub has changed games for us.
Aguero's goals have been important...but he missed a month.
Nasri has returned fitter and stronger since his injury and has looked class the last few games.
TLMLF...well, we do miss him, but I don't think him being away was the reason for January...I just think the team and Manager as a whole were poor. They lacked motivation and energy which only seemed to return in the 2nd half against Chelsea and Stoke where we played some brilliant attacking football at a very, very difficult place - without TLMLF.
I'd definitely take him over Kompany who has been very poor and often looked a liability - and Clichy and DeM have been better defenders this season.

Re: Our most important players
The only reason I put Kompany over Milner is that when Kompany has a poor game, we are more likely to struggle or lose. Who's the best five players form wise, Milner would definitely be in there.

And there's the problem Melton...he's been poor this season, therefore, how important is he?

Re: Our most important players
Based on this seasons form Milner is more valuable than Kompany, the form Vinny has shown this season makes him dispensible in my view, i'm sure there must be better CB's out there.

TLF
Nasri
Kun
Silva
Little Joe
In no particular order, depends what mood each of them is in!
Had to have Little Joe, because we are so much weaker at the back without him this season. Had no problem with Pants as deputy, but Willy, oh dear, no!
