Important Cavani news
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis plays down suggestions he wants Rafael Benitez
to be the club's new head coach and claimed the delegation that visited
England yesterday was hoping to secure an exchange deal with Manchester
City for Edinson Cavani.
Who would go to Napoli on exchange? Tevez? Dzeko?

The Italian play would suit Dzeko more.

It would, but Tevez's reaction on Sunday might just suggest otherwise.

Oh to dream of Dzeko swapped for Lewandowski and Tevez (plus some cash) for Cavani!

I'm hoping it's Kolarov, failing that I hope it's Dzeko.
ps. Why are we letting Tevez go, he's been our best forward this season?

Maybe he made a deal with the club to come back from his golfing holiday if we let him leave early.

report says that they want Dzeko
Oh PLEASE!!!! LET IT BE TRUE!!!!!
it might make Tevez think again, then again, if he wants to go, we should honour his wishes, he's delivered big time, if Cavani comes that would be sweet, and with Isco following Pellegrini to City (hopefully) that much needed attacking verve we saw at the start and end of last season would be a good shout to return in August.
Cavani and Aguero would be a great combo, Sergio needs someone to play off, Dzeko only showed it in flashes, Cavani is far more mobile, and speaks the same language, if he comes to City, it might be like UTD with RVP this season, the difference.

Cavani for Dzeko? Bloody hell, that would be the biggest coup since we made twelve million selling and buying back Shauny!
Christ - having Aguero, Isco and Cavani leading the line. That should cause more than a few anxious defences, I dare say!

I can't see it being a straight swap but Dzeko and £20M is still a good deal for us.

Falcao Fact -
Radamel Falcao has scored with 26% of his shots in La Liga since joining Atlético Madrid (PL average in 2012-13: 13.6%)

Re: Important Cavani news
I would be well pleases with any top proven striker for Dzeko, the ones mentioned above certainly fit the bill, it would have to include cash around £20m i agree but i would still like to retain the services of Tevez for at least one more season.
We still need another quality centre back and a decent left back to replace the awful Kolarov.

Re: Important Cavani news
But who fits the decent left back criteria? We've already got Clichy, Baines is most likely going to the scum, Cashley is too old (and getting a bit crap), erm... Evra??? Nah, he's crap AND a rag.
Philipp Lahm would be good, he can play on either side, but could we get him?
Filipe Luis might be a good shout, or Fabio Coentrao.

I'd rather we got someone young Leo - Clichy is a good enough 1st team left back for the moment.
Luke Shaw from Southampton maybe. Although they want £12m+ for him.

Twelve million for a young full back who's spent one season in the Prem? Jesus, I see the vultures are still out to shred every last penny out of us then.

I thought Baines was going to the rags? Or are they ditching Evra and Fabio?
