Edinson Cavani £45m? Empty Edinson Cavani £45m?

According to reports in several media outlets, we've offered Napoli £45million for Edison Cavani! I wonder if it's a player plus deal?!! We've put an extra £10m on to take Mario off our hands?!,!!

I think that would be immediately rejected to be honest Bewar3.

I know a lot of people will disagree but I'd go for it. We are severely lacking in goals currently, a new striker and a high profile signing might be just what we need.

Sometimes it is just a kick up the old backside we may need, look at RVP, he's scoring and unfortunately for us Rooney and that little Mexican s*** have pulled their finger out.

Anyway, we should be able to get £15 for Balotelli, £20 for Dzeko. I'd go for that. I like Dzeko, but he just doesn't cut it for me. I'd love to give him more time, but we don't play to his strengths.

Edinson Cavani £45m? Empty Re: Edinson Cavani £45m?

BBC Sport;

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis would prefer to see Mario Balotelli partner Edinson Cavani at the San Paolo than consider selling his star striker to Manchester City.

He told Gazzetta.it: "City are considering letting Balotelli go so they can move for Cavani? I would prefer to see Balotelli playing with Cavani here at Napoli. Teams tend to hold onto their best players in January. You take a big risk making big investments now."

I'll book his plane ticket now!

The question is, would he come now, or in the summer? Obviously we need someone like him right now! I like Dzeko, sometimes he digs us out of big holes, and provides us with the ability to go direct, he's also scored the same as Aguero and Tevez this season, straight swap for Mario, try to get £20m for him.
As for RVP I predict an injury soon, he can't go 2 seasons without any injury, look at Aguero, had 2 so far!

i would only get rid if balotelli and keep dzeko. he keeps popping up and digging us out of holes and we can't afford to let two strikers go with aguero injured.

Cavani has stated that he would relish the challenge of the prem, and do better than Suarez, so the payer wants to go, obviously he'll get a pay rise, and I'd love to see us put one over on that smug De Laurentiis, after what he said about us.

He's scored more, actually, he's our highest scorer so far!
