City vs Newcastle - Live Thread 17:30 KO.
So....today we'll get to see Bony - at some point anyway. No Milner, Barca next Tuesday, but the Manager claims he's only picking his team solely for Newcastle only.
I can't see that, but hey.....who knows with MP's selections:
I'm going for:
..............................................Hart.............................................
Sagna...................Vinny.......................Manga.................Kolorov....
.............................TLMLF...............Fernandinho..............................
Navas......................................Silva....................................Nasri..
............................................Aguero.............................................

FFS....Dzeko instead of Bony in a 4-4-2. No width without Navas once again and he persists with someone who's control is nothing short of shite!
Dear oh dear....what is this manager thinking of? Bewildering.

Watching Rags lose too, let's hope we are up to it today.

No excuse now...they'll know Chelsea have dropped 2 points.
Let's hope the 'one' with no touch can prove me wrong and score today....but i'll definitely not be holding my breath. He's a poor, poor player.
Come on Sergio!!
Be great to see Bony get some game time as well.

He'll bring Bony on to a warm welcome. Sorry Milner's injured - unless it's a smokescreen and he's leaving. Hope not

Yeah, it'd be a travesty if we were to keep the likes of Dzeko, Jovetic and Navas and lose one of our best players this season for one reason or another.
I'm sure...and I hope City are doing everything to keep him.
Be brilliant to see Bony...but sadly, I can see Aguero getting some rest prior to Barca instead of dropping the 'lump up front' and seeing what our best potential strike duo could do prior to Barca.

Got to give Dzeko credit.....brilliant finish!
still not gonna change my mind until he does that 1 in 2 games.

I like the NBC coverage Arlo White and Lee Dixon are a good pairing.
Edin is worried, good goal

Yes - excellent coverage - Lee Dixon is always very fair. Think MP got it right as Dzeko is trying to prove a point (at last) and keeping his place.

This is the front six that won us the league, not sure how many times we've had all six available this season.

Lee Dixon is a boyhood city fan though but he is fair. ITV should use him more as a commentator.
I say rest all the big boys for Tues, give Bony a run out and see it out with nothing spectacular.

Been a long time since it's been this comfortable. We needed this because we know how strong we finish a season.

Re: City vs Newcastle - Live Thread 17:30 KO.
Great, comfortable performance against an average Newcastle team.
Thought the back 4 were solid....and that includes Mangala (Dawg).
Silva was excellent...Nasri just brought a different dimension in that first half.
Thought Aguero was quiet today, but Dzeko probably had his best game in 12 months. Looks like the signing of Bony has woken him up, more effort, clinically better, slightly better touch....but overall, he did well.
TLMLF was effective without being spectacular....shame him and Fernandinho will be missing for Tuesday night.
Navas is still fucking useless though. It doesn't matter what anyone else says...he's crap.
Zaba and Vinny looked more composed and solid, so maybe they are finding some form again. But it was Newcastle. Barca will bring a whole new threat.
Still, great result to go into Tuesday....we looked like we could potentially score from every attack and great for Bony get some game time....my only argument is with MP.
Why the fuck bring off players in our FF TEAM prior to 60 mins??????
