Is it because he is a free transfer though? I Think Charlie Austin is the better striker if we are going home grown.

£60k pw should secure his services along with a signing fee of £2m.

Ings was supposed to cost about £5M as compensation to Burnley.
I know some don't like the idea off getting Ings, Berahino and Austin ( 2 out of 3) but it is still something I'd consider and make them fight for one spot.
