Ross Barkley...
Well. it reads like we're gonna be in for him in the summer...but please not for £50m. I personally think after the season he's had, i wouldn't pay more than £25m for him.

And as for Milner - IF he thinks he's going to oust Henderson in CMF, he'll be sadly let down. He's 4 or 5 players all vying for 2 positions in MF....and it wouldn't surprise me if starts less games for Liverpool than he does for us.

Re: Ross Barkley...
£50M for Barkley is at least double what he's worth. For that money, you're nearly getting Pogba or you can have Sterling. I agree, £25M for Barkley who has only shown glimpses (and been injured a bit too much).

Re: Ross Barkley...
I think what Everton want and what we actually pay will be very different...well I hope so anyway.
Totally agree with what you've both said above...£25m is the figure we need to be agreeing.
If Milner's that intent on going, then just let him go...I personally won't lose any sleep over it.

If we're honest, Milner isn't good enough for the top level. What he gives us is that energy, and we love him for that.

Re: Ross Barkley...
Everton are banking on the fact we need homegrown players hence the transfer fee, If we are desperate enough we will pay it. The fact Pogba is worth the same as Everton's valuation is irrelevant, unless he is classed as homegrown for coming through the Uniturd youth system.

Re: Ross Barkley...
Pogba was 3 months short of being HG. Too late now. We could easily buy Pogba and get a cheap HG to make up the numbers. No need to let Everton screw us again.
