Why we may have a bit more money to spend...
The Euro has taken a bit of a pounding in the last few months. A year ago, your pound would have got you about €1.21 but now it'll get you over €1.36 which is a big leap. For instance, if de Bruyn costs €50M, then we'd save about £5M on his transfer fee.
