A CL trophy 10 years ago. No PL title in 24 years. A couple of FA Cups since the late 90's....smaller crowd, shit ground, no CL football next season.....

I'm sure Villa were the 2nd or 3rd best major trophy winners before the PL started. Certainly on a par with Utd. Villa are still a big club for me. Plenty of history, big local fan base.

Plenty of history is right dawg in my 56 years on this earth I can remember 5 league cup finals (2 wins) a championship victory 1980, European cup 1981, and a cup final defeat in 2000. I think That is villa's most recent history. Now I am not saying they are not a big club but the majority of their trophy's were in the 1890's Looks as though they could add 1 to the cabinet though. Congrats Brenda 3 years no trophy at Liverpool. The worst start of a Liverpool manager for Decades.

I'll admit City won nowt for about 35 years, but we had a few trophies in the 20 years before we won the league cup in '76. 6 trophies in 20 years isn't too bad especially when it include the league title and a European trophy.

Maybe we should split it between big clubs and really big clubs!

Just checked, Liverpool have won 44 major trophies and we've won 14. But it's not all just about trophies.
