Maureen at it again....City should be docked points
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3063241/Jose-Mourinho-Manchester-City-docked-points-breaching-Financial-Fair-Play-guidelines.html
I quote:
‘FFP benefits clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern, who have a big fan base and get huge revenues on sponsorship and merchandising. At Chelsea, for instance, we refuse to pay any fine. We live with what we produce.
‘It forces us to think more. We have to sell in order to buy, to be aware of what you sell and what you buy.’
So, let me get this right - Chelsea live within their means, only buying players on what they can sell players for? If so, then they must post a profit each season - surely? Or at least, not post any losses?
Profit/Loss for the past 10 seasons:
2013 - -£56m
2012 - +0.2m
2011 - -£71m
2010 - -£70m
2009 - -£47m
2008 - -£70m
2007 - -£66m
2006 - -£78m
2005 - -£132m
2004 - -£75m
Player net spend (which according to Maureen should be £0 or a profit each season:
2014: £5.1m
2013: £49.3m
2012: £72m
2011: £63.2m
2010: £82.6m
2009: £17.5m
2008: profit £10.5m
2007: £7.5m
2006: profit £6.8m
2005: £91m
2004: £47.1m
So, please can somebody explain to me how Chelsea have made significant losses each season, and yet still spent all of the above net spends on players each season - but:
"We live with what we produce" ‘It forces us to think more. We have to sell in order to buy, to be aware of what you sell and what you buy.’
Journalists need to do their research and get back at him when he makes such ridiculous comments.

He's a dick...we all know he is, so i personally don't give 2 shits what he has to say about City.
But yes i agree, it would be nice if someone showed him these figures when he makes such comments.

He'll just say it was before FFP rules were introduced or it wasn't him.

Yeah, cos Chelsea never spent millions on improving beyond their means, did they?
What a knob. I'm glad we never got him as a manager, the whining prick.
