Milner to turn down a 4 year £165k pw contract

to sign for Arsenal.

So the rumour is.

Liverpool in for Dzeko and Jovetic.

City put £20m fee on Jovetic.

Last week the rumour was he was definitely going to Arsenal.

If Liverpool made him captain...

Just don't see it blue.....unless he's thinking the signings City are rumoured to be making will reduce his game time.
That said, who's to say Arsenal won't be making a few new signings too....added to the likes of Sanchez, Carzola, Ramsey, Wilshire, Ozil and Walnutt, where does Jimmy think he'll fit in?

As i've said previously, fuck him, if he want's to leave let him, i'll personally not lose any sleep over him going.....oh, and i wouldn't play him this weekend either.

Milner would struggle to get past Ramsey, Ozil and Carzola. He isn't a winger like the Ox or Walnutt so he'll be fighting with Wilshere for a place on the bench.

He'd get in at Liverpool no problem, but they haven't got CL footy and are not likely to do so next season unless they are bloody lucky.

Maybe Milner is putting playing every week ahead of any European ambitions. It has been reported we offered 2 yrs he wanted 3, then it was reported we offered 3 he wanted 4, now it is reported we offered 4 & a pay increase if that doesn't tell Milner he is wanted their is nothing more to be said. Let him go then. He must realize whoever he signs for be it champs league or Europa league participation he will be part of a squad which invariably means rotation unless you are outstanding ala Aguero, silva or Hart  etc which james is not.

Yeah be sorry to see him go He's had a good season & not many can say that but it sounds like the club have dun their utmost to keep him so fuk him if he still wants to go Although not the same type of player Id be happy to give  Loserpool Jimmy and even throw in Navas if we get Sterling

He wants to be 1st name on the sheet, if he has turned down 165k then fair play I hope it works out for him but I would have 10 Jimmies to 1 Navas or Dzeko. Trouble is to get what he wants it's going to be an Everton or Southampton, he won't be 1st on the sheet at either Gooners or Dippers.
