I guess Liverpool are trying to wrestle back control of the situation.
I'll be mega shocked if they sell him this summer unless hey are offered £40M+ abd I'm not sure he's worth that much yet.

I think they pretty much had NO choice after his agent said "LFC can offer him £900k pw, he still won't sign a new contract...oh, and Carragher's a knob"
Therefore, what's the point of any discussions?
I had a debate with the LFC fans (mates) on FB last night...and their stance was "shove him in the reserves for 2 years"....I had to point out that his contract is still governed by employment law, therefore, they can't do that - and why would you want to keep paying a so-called 'mercenary' £35k pw for sitting in the stands?
They really are so bloody bitter, it's untrue.
