Stirling....
So, it's rumoured that Sterling may be interested in a move to United - though moving there may be difficult.
Jamie Jackson of the Guardian, the north west reporter claims.
IF he is considering a move to United, why not us? I would have thought LFC would rather he came to us than United, though I guess they'll still trawl out the same party line "he's not for sale".
So maybe he isn't particularly fussed on 'just' London?

Re: Stirling....
As usual, lots of smoke but does even one of the journos actually know?
Utd could just be another smokescreen to get his wages up as there is absolutely no way that Liverpool would sell to them. The rabid fans would go ballistic.

Re: Stirling....
Jamie Jackson is pretty reliable - and I did post the other day about Sterling and United with article from Steve Bates (a Man United fan).
Maybe you're right, maybe it's the agent trying to stir up a bidding war - but I'm sure Sterling's not stupid, he'll know he'd be enemy No.1 if he ever did move to the rags.
Look at the death threats Slippy G received for even contemplating moving to Chelsea!

Re: Stirling....
Just heard this morning that Klopp was offered the job at LFC, but demanded full control of transfers - but that was turned down, so he decided not to take the job.
Where does that leave Rogers?

Brenda is opening 6 games from the sack IMHO. Poor start and he's history.

£50m? Seems steep and probably a little off the mark....however, if Pogba, Bale and the likes are off target - then unless we pay something dramatic, we WILL end up with B+ players.
To be fair, I'd be happy to pay £50m if that's what it takes. We've lost Milner at a potential £165k pw....so does it matter?
Funny how the rumours say that Milner would only go to LFC if Rogers remained in charge, otherwise he would have reconsidered. Wonder what'll happen if LFC have a bad start and Jimmy thinks "wtf have I done?"
