Stirling update....

I also see that Berahino has dumped the same agent.

What the article doesn't state in it's timeline is the fact that:

 - before Stirling came out and did that BBC interview, Rogers had, on several occasions, made it public during interviews, that LFC had offered Stirling a contract worth £100k.

That's what kicked off all this furore and annoyed Stirling and his agent and led to the BBC interview, as the press and ex players were saying he should sign it.

I know some of the advice he has been given has been poor, however, it seems that Rogers and LFC have gotten away with starting this. Maybe if they acted professionally and kept that conversation and offer in-house, nothing would have been said over the past 3 months and they may have persuaded Stirling to sign.

I heard yesterday, that City weren't gonna up their offer and stick to their £40m.....really hope this is true.

Just CANNOT under any circumstances, see this happening.

You are simply paying a player £35k pw to offer your 1st team squad nothing. In addition, your ONE big asset's value decreases by £1m per week whilst he sits there until January. 

It's all posturing from LFC. I'm sure they will accept this next offer of £40m plus £4m in add-ons.
