Thieves in the night
So the BBC shows it's class again, they remove 606 footy forum in the dead of night like thieves no warning no announcement no nothing, am sorry but the license paying users deserve better treatment than that, aside from top gear an master chef there are not many programs I watch on the biased broadcasting corporation but I always used to read 606 on the way to and home from work and when on the go, cheers for the underhand behaviour Aunty!

Re: Thieves in the night
I wish the government would scrap the TV licence fee altogether and make the BBC "pay per view", or make them seek advertising revenue like ITV. I only watch Top gear too (but wouldn't lose any sleep if i missed it), It's the biggest compulsary rip off we have imo and i'd never pay for the tripe they shell out if given the choice.

Re: Thieves in the night
606 might have gone in the early evening - like 5-ish. I went on there to have a quick look at something and the link wasn't there.

I don't think it's gone yet, my link is still working. I like BBC television and rarely watch ITV or Ch5 but they do spend a fortune on what I consider shite - I never watch any reality TV or anything about ice or dancing. They have channels that we can't see in the UK like BBC America, BBC Canada, CBBC Canada and a host of other channels and radio stations that we pay for but don't have the choice to watch or listen to - That pisses me off when they're planning to close 606. Radio 3 has a prime FM slot but sometimes gets audiences of less than 1,000 but 6 Music is tucked away on DAB which means I can't listen to it when I'm driving - The only time I ever listen to radio for more than a few minutes at a time.

"They have channels that we can't see in the UK like BBC America, BBC Canada, CBBC Canada and a host of other channels and radio stations that we pay for but don't have the choice to watch or listen to".
I didn't even know this but that was kinda my point above, this naffs me off even more now. Why the fuck am i made to pay for this? Arghhhhhhh

They might as well have closed it down. They're throttling the bandwidth to make it virtually unuseable, why not just close it when they said the miserable cunts.
