Sorry....but the whole KDB debacle
So, Wolfsburg has come out and said "pay £50m and you can have him"
We've already offered £47m, just pay the extra £3m and get it done, or pull out.
I know the Sterling buy went on for a while, but we all knew he'd definitely be coming as he had asked to leave.
This is becoming a little boring now.

Re: Sorry....but the whole KDB debacle
Surely they could have the courtesy to acknowledge the supposed first 2 bids, if indeed they were made. Mixed messages coming out as last week the Wolfsburg coach said no offers had been forthcoming, yet in the same breath he then said in some media outlets that Bayern , Real & Barca were interested. How would he know if no bids were tabled. If it is hearsay then i would have thought you would have to mention all clubs supposed interest.

Re: Sorry....but the whole KDB debacle
Just buy Pedro. KdB can fuck off now. Wolfsburg can fuck off as well. If they come back and accept our £47M bid, we should publicly acknowledge that they have accepted the bid and then retract the bid. KdB will know they wanted to sell him and that'll put him off a bit.
We should reduce the offer to £40M. Like it or lump it.

Re: Sorry....but the whole KDB debacle
Wolfsburg coach Dieter Hecking has dropped a hint that Kevin De Bruyne could be set to leave the Bundesliga side.
"These are going to be difficult days for all involved," sport1.de reported Hecking as saying. "And even if our days together should not continue, I would already now like to wish him all the best."
Manchester City are reportedly lining up a £45m pound bid for De Bruyne, who picked up an award as Lower Saxony's footballer of the year on Monday.

Re: Sorry....but the whole KDB debacle
His agent has come out and said the question KDB was asked was in German and was a leading question, and the answer has been misinterpreted. He says there is no decision made.

I'm pissed off with all of this now. Doesn't look like we'll get Pedro now. Unless we stick a late bid on for ISCO...

Re: Sorry....but the whole KDB debacle
And that looks to be that.
I don't see us getting anyone else now, unless we're going to sneak in a bid for Pedro. And unless we've been negotiating for Isco on the quiet, I don't see that being an option either.
Still, it does look like we've had new signings in Kolarov, Mangala and TLF up to now, so maybe it's not all bad news...

Re: Sorry....but the whole KDB debacle
It now appears that De Bruyne was repeating what the compere of the awards night was saying after the compere told him to repeat hat he said, This has really angered his agent supposedly who has said no decision has been made & no bids have been put in front of the agent or player from Wolfsburg
officials. So the saga drags on

No, if you read the article, it tells you what his agent said. Complete misinterpretation or a 'practical joke'.
