Bit of a Debacle Last Night
Hope we get a grip for the match v Blackburn and that the Tevez saga doesn't unsettle the team. Bet everybody's knackered after last night though so who do you think Mancini will select? Seems like we've criticised everyone except for Clichy, Richards and Hart.

Don't know about the players Wensdi, but last night and the subsequent fall out today has knackered me out.
I'm sure we will be up for it come saturday and fully expect a good win.

Yeah, i hope last night is quickly erased by a truely dominant performance Wensdi. Really hope we're not 2-0 down at half time though.......dread to think what RM will do this time.

Silva was ok and its strange but they targetted Barry for a good kicking for the first 20 minutes. How they didnt get anyone booked for the fouls on him I dont know, but it unsettled him for the rest of the game.

Re: Bit of a Debacle Last Night
I noticed the abuse Barry got - maybe it was for his initial early tackle. We are obviously not on anybody's "favourites" list as there were so many fouls on us - that went apparently unnoticed by the ref:evil:
I had to break the news to one of my lads that we lost 2-0 - which was worse than watching them lose. He had to work a double shift yesterday and rang me on his way home. When I told him - there was silence for a long time - I know he was waiting for me to say "I'm just kidding" - as I usually make up porkies when he rings to find out a score. Poor lad.

Okay, I'll be that bloke...
Micah was reasonable going forward; poor defensively. He's not learning; he left Petrov too much room v Bolton and last night stood too far off Ribery... goal. Gotta learn faster. He's a top player, but he's got to do his job and trust his team mates.
Liked Kolarov when he came on, looked like he cared.

i don't blame micah for the first goal. there was the overlap and he had to hand ribery over to yaya who dick fuck all to stop him cutting inside and shooting. mancini had been telling them for four days that that was what ribery will do.
one on one, micah had ribery in his pocket. but micah can't do much against two attackers on him at once. that overlap was killing us.
clichy didn't do much wrong and looked good in the 1st half.

Okay, I stand corrected. The game's a bit of a blur now, I can't remember details.
I'm not going to criticise YaYa coz he gets enough shit thrown at him on here already.

Spot on Dawg, Micah was left exposed time and time again, there really was no right midfielder helping out all night.

Re: Bit of a Debacle Last Night
At times it was proper amateurish... like when Kolo decided to go marauding up the pitch. Bayern stood and waited for him, mugged him - all of a sudden it's 5 on 3 and it's a fucking miracle we didn't concede there.
Obviously we had a couple of penalty shouts and I'm surprised the second one wasn't given. FIFA-directed ref?
If Edin sticks his chance away and we get one of those pens would we be having this conversation now?

90% chance that if we had got the pen (and scored) or edin had tucked his chance away, we would have got at least a point.
more than likely, we would have given Bayern a footballing lesson.
As I have said before, we need to score first and early
