Referees.....

Just watching the Newcastle/Arsenal game. Andre Mariner is the ref.

Bellerin was played through and the defender stood on his ankle. Absolutely clear penalty.....the ref says no pen.

10mins later, Mitrovic controls the ball on his chest and it bounces slightly away from him. He sticks his foot out, but Coquallan get to it first. His boot therefore goes down the shin pads and Mariner send Mitrovic off.

The pundits are saying "clear red card". I don't think there was any intent whatsoever....he was just going for the ball. He's looking at the ball as well.

Awful reffing again.

Not watching this (watching cricket). Mitrovic has picked up two yellows already this season so the refs are keeping an eye on him.

It was, at worst, another yellow card. However, Newcastle are holding them at bay.

Looking at the game overall, Newcastle players were making some very aggresssive challenges. It was a stonewall penalty and if it had been against us i would have been livid if a penalty had been denied.
Arsenal were lucky with the deflected own goal but the better team won.

Absolute penalty.

Some of the tackles were 'strong', but as long as they are within the law, there's nothing wrong with that. Arsenal are pussies. They roll around the floor at the slightest touch. Even Sanchez was doing it.
That's why they'll never win the PL.
