Kompany and Mangala still out for Newcastle
Along with the possibility of TLMLF.
The others who have been out will also miss the game and Silva will be assessed for the game.
Let's face it, we've had a sudden 'shitty' run of injuries, that fans of other clubs (not so far away), made as the excuse for their clubs form last season. Well now, it's our turn.
Gael Clichy, Fabian Delph, Bony, Samir Nasri, Kelechi Iheanacho, TLMLF, Kompany, Mangala (possibly Silva). That's almost 9! players.
We may need Fernando to step up this weekend and time for Sterling and Aguero to do the business.

Re: Kompany and Mangala still out for Newcastle
Before the weekend, I'd have said, sod it, chuck the kids out there. Newcastle were dead last and couldn't buy a win, so play the young 'uns in a relatively easy fixture.
And then they came close to beating Chelsea and now I'm not so sure.
We should play the same team that were on the pitch when Serge scored the penalty midweek. They were gutsy enough to pull us back from a defeat, so should be up for a win against Newcastle.
I'd settle for an ugly 1-0 win at this stage, frankly.

Re: Kompany and Mangala still out for Newcastle
Would be nice to get some players in who dont get injured all the time
Kompany Nasri & Aguero have had several stints on the injury list. In fact come to think of it I cant remember Delph or Bony being injured in their previous clubs now they come to us both are never fit
Maybe its the training regime or something. Can't just all be down to bad luck

just read mango is in the squad along with Bony & Kelechi only new injury is Toure, which was expected anyway. I doubt if Mango will play unless he has trained well with no effects of the groin injury.

Delph had quit a lengthy spell out of the villa team these last 2 seasons & Bony also the season before last. I do think we are playing more games than most teams so more injuries are likely to occur, As blistering has said this is one international break I do welcome.
