Are the French closing in? Explosions and gunfight

Gunfire and explosions in St. Denis early this morning. Reports that fugitives holed up in an appartement there. Reports that 2 are dead. Situation ongoing.

I was actually getting ready to go for an appointment only 3 miles from there. Lucky I checked the news.

Police quoted by the AP news agency say that they believe the suspected mastermind of last week's attacks, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, is holed up in an apartment in Saint Denis, along with up to five other heavily armed people. 
The official says that scores of police who stormed the building early Wednesday were met with unexpectedly violent resistance, the news agency adds. 
Reinforcements were summoned and several people were injured.

7 explosions. Reports that a woman blew herself up in the building with a suicide vest. Reports that the organiser of Friday's attacks is there.
