Re: Ian Lawlor debut
Yeah looked pretty solid tbh. Didn't have a save to make...as they kept missing the target but his handling n kicking was good.

Re: Ian Lawlor debut
so he looks alright then. get him in the first team squad instead of at least wright. Wright is taking up a spot that could maybe go to a non HG player. I'd be tempted to have him instead of Big Willy.

Tbh Tony, i really have no idea how we've got through this round. Bradford had all the chances at Gigg, but couldn't score...and i think we were hangin on for grim death again last night.
I'm sure someone once said, "football's a funny old game".

"Citys third-keeper Richard Wright, who has been earmarked for a coaching role with the Blues, was in the stands for Tuesday night's 0-0 draw against Crewe . His protege didn’t have much to do as Bury dominated proceedings"
Jesus, you can say that again. It was more one way traffic than the semi-final on Weds. We should have won by 4 or 5 clear goals, it really was 2 dropped points...ah well.
Lawlor will probably be a lot busier tomorrow (Hull in the Cup), but so far he's been pretty good. If he does half as well as Pope did for us last season, i'll be more than happy.

Fuck me, he's certainly being kept busy at the moment
Looks like our financial future's been sorted now, hopefully we can kick on with 5 out of the next 6 games at home....here's hoping anyway.

Fucked up last night for their goal (1min 15secs).....but i'm blaming the LB for a suicidal backpass to him.
