Wembley Stadium

I have just read that spurs are closing in on a deal to play their league games at Wembley & their cup games at mk dons stadium whilst their ground is being revamped. I personally have always thought of wembley as a special place for cup finals & internationals only. I was against cup semi finals being played there as it devalues cup competition, & the thrill of reaching wembley for a cup final. Now to play league games there as well in my eyes devalues the thrill of wembley further.  & What happens if spurs get to a final they can't have home advantage which again would be a kick in the guts for the opposition reaching wembley. Agree or disagree?

As much as I completely agree with you Oz....the stadium has to recoup money.

surely other events between internationals, cup finals, etc major business functions could all be found to finance the stadium.

Think they are doing that as well Oz....but the stadium cost so much more than was initially predicted..it'll take decades to start making money.

As usual, they'll take the money and run. It was caused by the FA themselves. Too many bad or dodgy deals and the ordinary fans suffer.
