There's a (secondary) commentator over here who is referred to simply as Gary.  Trying to work out if it's Gary Taphouse or Gary Birtles. He is a very negative bugger with his "Oh dearie me's" etc., and keeps harping on the same match incident for half an hour at a time?  Bit of a northern accent I'd say.  I'm sure it's Gary Taphouse - but I see that he was born in Surrvey?  Any ideas

could be birtles he is about as negative as they come & the way he puts players down for making a mistake you would have thought he was the best player on the planet in his day.
