Yayas ulimatum to City
YAYA TOURE has issued Manchester City with an ultimatum: Give me a new contract next week or I walk this summer.
In a stunning Sunsport interview Toure's agent Dimitry Seluk insisted the Ivory Coast superstar wants to STAY.
But unless City swiftly offer him a new three-year deal he will go.
Seluk said: "In the next week we must find a solution about whether Yaya will prolong his contract with City or he will go to another club.
"But if he leaves City it will surely NOT be for another English club."
Toure has one more year left on his current £220,000-a-week deal and left it up to City’s board and the fans to decide whether they want to keep him or not.
In an interview with SunSport interview Seluk has:
URGED City fans to give their verdict in the Manchester derby against United on Sunday at the Etihad.
REVEALED that If he signs a new three-year deal Yaya will donate £1m a year to the Manchester hospital that treated his late brother Ibrahim for cancer.
INSISTED Toure will never go to another English club. If he leaves City it will be for another European giant.
ADMITTED he has turned down an incredible £20m plus annual salary offer from Chinese big-spenders Jiangsu Suning and will never go to China.
Seluk said: “Supporters love Yaya and he loves them.
“He does not want to play against City with another English club. How can he go to another English team and forget the love City fans have showed him?
"They hired a plane with a banner to say ‘Happy Birthday, Yaya.’ He will never forget that.
“Some people say he came only for money. But when he came City were only sixth or seventh and had never made it into the Champions League.
“With Yaya the team started winning. Yaya won every trophy in England but not the Champions League. I hope the draw on Friday is good and they can go to the semi-finals.”
So why has Seluk given City an ultimatum? PRIDE.
Toure believes he’s given so much to City that he deserves better than to wait until the summer to find out his fate when Pep Guardiola comes in as boss.
Seluk added: “We rejected a huge offer from a Chinese club, the same that bought Ramires, for much more money than Ramires.
"We don’t want to go there. And we will never go to China. Yaya does not think about money. Yaya thinks about football.
“He wants to finish at the highest level. The offer from China was more than double what he earns at City. If he liked money more than football he would immediately go to China.
“But Yaya prefers to stay at City. He likes the fans and the town. His heart is in Manchester where his brother Ibrahim died of cancer in a Manchester hospital.”
Seluk added: “Yaya said if he signs a new contract he will give £1million from his salary every year to the hospital where his brother was treated to help other cancer patients and the doctors and nurses and staff.
“People say Yaya and me only think about money. Last year we donated a lot of money, Yaya £100,000 and myself £50,000, to Nepal after the earthquake there for those who lost their homes and belongings.
"We did that through Puma as Yaya is their ambassador.
“Whenever we sign a contract we always put money away for charity.”
Seluk added: “I hope City will resolve the situation.
Yaya plays for the supporters. City fans can say if they want him to stay. They play Manchester United on Sunday. If supporters want him to stay they can put their banners up.
"If fans don’t want him to stay, no problem. But Yaya did a lot for City.
“If you calculate how much he cost and his salary compared to the minutes he played on the pitch - and almost every game he played 90 minutes - he would prove one of the cheapest players.
“Some other players cost much more than Yaya and through injuries or because they are on the bench they prove much more expensive even if they earn less than Yaya.”

This just about sums up why his agent's saying this now.

.......................................
There's nothing stopping him doing that at whatever club he goes to, if he cares so much about the hospital, cancer and Manchester.
What a pair of cunts.

Re: Yayas ulimatum to City
yet yesterday toure was saying in the Mirror if city don't want me I will sign for another club & stay in England because my family loves it here they are very Happy & I have extended family here. Who is telling the truth??? If we believe the Mirror then he will be playing in the premier league Or if we believe the Sun & Mirror he's got a lot of commuting ahead of him. I just wish he'd accept the China offer as we would get for him a darn site more than he is worth.

It's quite simple. Just ask Pep if he wants to keep him. If he doesn't bin him off to the highest bidder

And some wonder why I can't stand the fucker.
I'd forgive his last two seasons if he would have just kept his mouth shut...and some think he's a City legend?

He's just a nob full stop.
Biggest prick in football...and sadly, at our club.
If I was the owner, I'd put £30m on his head...and let's see how much the big clubs want him, seen as though he rates his own value so highly.
Really, for how much he gets paid each week, the way he and his agent conduct themselves is disgraceful.
