City v United - Derby Day Live Thread
First topic message reminder :
So...we have to win this game for all different reasons.
Team? Who the f..k knows....probably Bony up front on his own and Sergio on the bench!
For me:
Hart
Sagna, Ota, Manga, Clichy
Fernandinho,
Kelechi,Silva,TLMLF, Sterling
Aguero

why the fuck would you foul someone when he's only going to give the ball back to us.
fuck off pellegrini. Itchy should have been on. We'd cut him some slack too.

and wtf is khaldoon doing allowing them to get away with this???
Pep will be hampered by us not getting £50M for the CL next season. Unless they increase the etihad sponsorship to make up the defecit.

I don't think I've ever been this angry after a game of football. Disappointed, yes, frustrated, yes. But red with rage. never.

I never though a lack of goals would be our downfall......but it is.
Well that and no decent defender

Player ratings:
Hart - 5 should have saved Rahford's shot.
Sagna - 5
DeM -
Mangala - 5
Clichy - 6
Fernandinho - 6 should keep him at CB, as he won't give any other fucker from the academy a chance.
TLMLF - 5 the usual 3 or 4 bursts, but that was it for 90 mins.
Silva - 5 stupid tactics forced him on the left after Sterling got injured and we all know he's wasted out there.
Sterling - 3. Started brightly, but yet another injury.
Navas - fucking pathetic as usual
Aguero - 7 worked his socks off, but still struggling to find the net.
Fernando - 6 did his job when he come on.
Bony - fucking pathetic again.
Willy - 6 made one good save, but really didn't have much to do.
Pellegrini - just fuck off. Pathetic management. Kelechi on the bench again, and again, not picked ahead of Bony, when you've just watched a young kid give the rags the lead. What a joke.

Can't argue too much with them.
I would be tempted to drop Clichy to a 5 just for trying to shoot with his right foot.
Aguero clearly doesnt trust Bony and plays well with Itchy so no contest who should be playing..

I thought Navas worked hard yesterday. Granted, he didn't achieve much, but at least he tried. More than some of those fuckers did.
MDM shouldn't have been near that game. He failed to stop Rashford getting through time and again, then made that awful backpass that got Joe injured, before feigning injury and forcing a second unnecessary substitution.
Now we've got the rags and West Ham both breathing down our necks for that fourth place, Leicester, Spurs and Arsenal are just getting further and further away and it looks like our CL place is in some serious jeopardy, short of winning it this season - and winning it seems like the more realistic option right now.

Funnily enough leo, i didn't comment on Navas because i thought i was just me. I too thought he worked hard and tried his best for 90 minutes....that's all i ever ask of a player. Ok so he blazed one over, but he also made De Gea pull off a decent save in the 1st half too.
I don't think i can count many players who did a whole lot better anyway.
Have the Argies got a couple of games over the break....as i can see the headline now "AGUERO OUT FOR SEASON"?
That'll just top the season off wonderfully wouldn't it

Navas worked hard granted....but FFS, how many times did he cross the ball straight at the first defender - AGAIN?

Yeah, I know, he wasn't overly effective, but he was still more into the game than most and, if we were ever going to get a goal, he was going to be involved somehow.blueboy wrote:Navas worked hard granted....but FFS, how many times did he cross the ball straight at the first defender - AGAIN?

BUT....it's not only his crossing. Again, he consistently struggled to get around, past, through a defender. It took Sergio to show him how easy it is on several occasions.
