But, a top class keeper doesn't make stupid mistakes and have to make up for them with great saves.

They just make great saves.

Oh, and his kicking was nothing short of abysmal.

I like Joe...but I've got a horrible feeling he may not be City's no.1 next season.

Wait a minute blue, the motm was Rose (who admittedly played well), but it was his fault for the goal and not Harts...you could say Hart was trying to rectify his fuck up

Sorry, but i can't criticize Joe too much for last night...apart from 1 or 2 kick outs his only fault imo was a crap punch out in the last 5 minutes.

I thought Stones did OK yesterday....he took the ball out of defence numerous times, one time ending up in the opposition box.

Yes, he's not had a great season at EFC, but Everton, managed by Martinez, have been awful.

Think I'd still prefer Laporte or Varane (who's also now injured and may miss the Euros).

Phew, I'm glad it wasn't just me that saw that!  I thought he did very well too, both defensively and overlapping his winger to get forwards.  He was like Clichy and Kolarov, all rolled into one - but only the good bits!  It'll be interesting to see how he gets on against a properly strong side, though.

17, although I may have missed a couple.  His distribution seems to be getting worse.

Who was responsible for causing it is irrelevant to Joe's thought process, you simply don't race 10 yards out of your goal and commit yourself like that unless you're damn sure that you are going to get that ball or block the shot/cross, Hart did neither and left his goal unprotected, schoolboy error and yes his kicking was woeful too, does he only practice saving shots at keeper training?

He obviously thought he was going to get the ball or block the shot cross

If he hadn't have come out, the winger would have had a free shot or cross, perhaps Joe racing out caused him to panic a little as nothing much came from it
